As a result of business regulation reforms implemented in 2012-2018, the Russian Federation is almost on a par with the OECD high income economies by the overall ease of doing business score in Doing Business 2019. This report consists of three parts. First part contains information about various international indicators which are used to measure the ease of environment for entrepreneurship activity. Second part shows the results of the reforms implemented by the Russian Federation and measured by the Doing Business study as well as various future scenarios prepared with the Doing Business 2019 calculator. This part is divided by topics covered by the study. Third part contains recommendation on further reforms on the ten topics of the Doing Business study.
