[기업] Entrepreneurship education in Poland: Contemporary problems and future opportunities

폴란드 국외연구자료 연구보고서 - The International Journal of Management Education 발간일 : 2024-01-01 등록일 : 2024-01-26 원문링크

Polish schools, regardless of their level, are unable to meet the demands of market changes and expectations of the participants of this market within the context of entrepreneurial knowledge transfer, confirming the lack of agility in current educational approaches. In order to analyse the determinants of the inefficiency of entrepreneurship education in Poland and to establish future recommendations for improving educational outcomes, this study interviewed 494 secondary school pupils and business students both from state and private educational institutions. The Authors have empirically verified the postulate that contemporary educational programs are negatively correlated with the expectations of program recipients and do not equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in the entrepreneurial market. This inadequacy can be attributed to the lack of experience on the part of educators in efficiently imparting entrepreneurial knowledge. Our research indicates that the implementation of a practice-oriented approach in the reconstruction of entrepreneurship education curricula should constitute a significant factor in Polish academic policy, and it will provide foundations for future scientific studies in the field. This paper is the first one in the European Union to take into account the perspectives of students whose expectations of entrepreneurship school programs have hitherto been ignored.
